Storm Window Screws

Recommended Posts

@M20F, that's the same screw I have in my C. Not only do neither LASAR nor Great Lakes have them, but LASAR claimed they are aftermarket. It wasn't until sevetal months later that I saw my parts manual shows the one screw, while LASAR insists there should be two small screws per side.

A friend had two brass screws left over from making a holster thst screw together similarly. I had to shorten the screw some tomfit, but it works fine. Looks a little funny with ine aluminum unut and one brass one, but who looks that closely anyway? I can check the Parts book tomorrow if you still need the number . . . . But it may not be available.

According to my M20J IPC, the screw is a standard 6-32 MS24693-523. The nut is a Mooney part 914071-005. LASAR website lists that part at $45.69 ea. There is also a 7615 washer $0.10.

Wow! I'm pretty sure HD has them cheaper.
