how did you get the GTR200 in there?

That's a great question - my avionics shop recommended and installed it, but I just learned from your post after googling it's for experimental aircraft....  ughghghghg...

Yeah. You might want to check if thats in the airplane legally. Ive always wanted to fit one since its slim but could never find a way to legally other than a field approval.

Here's the latest update, the airplane is almost ready, adsb installed and all wires are done, waiting to do the pitot static inspection and adsb performance chack, we had a problem in the G430w and it's being sorted out soon, next week should be ready.

Looks real nice!  I’m about to do something similar with 2 G5s, so I’ve got a couple questions... first, where the heck is your gear handle?  Also, why didn’t you want your G5s flush mounted?  And finally, what did the new left side panel cost?  I’m going to need a whole new panel cut out...

thanks!

I have 68 M20C which doesn't have gear handle, I got the Johnson bar in the bottom middle, I didn't know about the flush mount until we got the final panel cut, it doesn't look bad like this at all, the cost to do the left panel was $400, I didn't do the right panel as I'm looking to autopilot next year, dual G5s installation took15 hrs, gns430w installation took 20 hrs.
