vorlon1
I have a 650 and the older model EI FP5 fuel computer. This model will not interface with the 650. To do that, I would need to upgrade to the FP5L. Has anyone interfaced the 650 with one of these (or any other) fuel computers? I am interested in opinions of the additional functionality the connection affords. TIA! Edited June 24, 2019 by vorlon1 typo
ArtVandelay
You can manually enter some of the fuel data and go through the fuel planning utility pages on the GTN.Tom
jaylw314
I'm pretty sure it's possible. I have an FP-5L that sends data out to my 530W as well as my EDM-730. The 530W also sends GPS data back to the FP-5L to help it calculate mpg's Edited June 24, 2019 by jaylw314
201Mooniac
I have my JPI EDM-800 interfaced. I really only find it useful when viewing the flight plan page to see fuel needed to destination.
flyboy0681
I have the EDM-700 interfaced to the 750. It's very useful having the fuel flow displayed on the map and having all of the calculations available with the punching of two buttons. And the accuracy (assuming the EDM fuel options are properly set and calibrated) is phenomenal.
