David Lloyd Posted May 16, 2019 Report Posted May 16, 2019 Anyone other than LASAR repairing nose trunnion dented tubes?
carusoam Posted May 16, 2019 Report Posted May 16, 2019 Kind of a low volume, specialty job... You can also look for used, and upgrade any bearing surfaces before installing... The benefits of going to Lasar... inventory expertise Any support hardware Ready to install kit Check the usual recyclers for a good starting point... Post a pic of the dents... for best advice... PP thoughts only, -a- 1
Stephen Posted May 17, 2019 Report Posted May 17, 2019 I had it done in TX. Let me get the $$$.... stdby....
Stephen Posted May 17, 2019 Report Posted May 17, 2019 Sadly MX guy at KHAE ruined my new one about 1 month later.... Now I can send my core in and say... just rebuild that and send it back. Good times.
Stephen Posted May 17, 2019 Report Posted May 17, 2019 No idea other didn't notice it till you called it out. I'll ask next time I send it in. I think it was a bit cheaper to have them do it in the net than some of the other options out there.

It’s fair, otherwise he would eat that cost and they’re not working on tons of profit margin
