LANCECASPER
Thats looks great - the manufacturer even has an "aircraft" page on their website. https://decalprofx.com/Vertical/1_MENU/1a_Home/Aircraft/Aircraft.html
RLCarter
Doesn't seem all that complicated, just have to follow the steps in order, on the Vans site some were complaining that it didn't work well for them but my guess it was operator error. $90.00 bucks and you can get it from Aircraft Spruce but you would still need the laminating machine
mooneyflyfast
A little too elaborate for me. Is there a labelmaker that makes white letters on a clear or black background?
Marauder
A little too elaborate for me. Is there a labelmaker that makes white letters on a clear or black background? I just sent an email to the company and got a quick response. I think if you have the time and more importantly the skills, it would be a viable option.Brother Label makers can do a white on black and white on clear. Neither are super professional looking.I would like a solution that can do a true transfer without all of the work involved. khedrei
Reviving an old thread here. Anyone try this? I'm curious how durable this stuff is. I would like to redo the cheap looking vinyl transfer labeling that my avionics shop used. I am mostly concerned about durability. Will it hold up to people touching it? And for how long? Oscar Avalle
I tried them out and I was not convinced. I was never able to print something usable.
jamesm
Hum I am sure it look nice when it is done but sure seems labor intensive. like others said I just used Brother label maker maybe not as professional looking but it's functional. chriscalandro
Just do it in excel and print it on sticker paper.....
RLCarter
Durability probably isn’t as good as a silkscreen, and as far labor invested, doesn’t look like it to me
