If you have any engine troubles, it activates explosive bolts and throws the engine clear of the airframe. Chase its wires before throwing the switch... otherwise process of elimination is your friend... Got a list of all the things your plane has? I was finally able to get a hold of the previous owner and the switch is Non Functional that either the first owner had put in or the factory did!!! carusoam Posted March 11, 2019 Report Share Posted March 11, 2019 Everyone with a fuel selector on the floor should have a footwell light.... I found a dead bulb in my 65C’s... when I happened upon the light... It is there to continuously light the fuel selector switch... A hidden switch for the hidden bulb wouldn’t make much sense... By the way... everyone should have a document in their POH that shows an electrical drawing that has all the switches, CBs, and what they are connected to....
