Speed Brake Removal Question -- Am I safe for flight?

Just install the overhauled speedbrakes and fly it over there. 25 mins is not going to give the fuel leak that much time to do much if anything to the speedbrake. They could remove them there when they do the tank seal and while they are out could regrease the worm gear if any was washed off by the leaking fuel. I had a speedbrake that stopped working and when i saw they charge 1 amu i looked at mine and the left was bone dry with no grease on the worm gear. After i greased the worm gear with A/P supervision.  it has been working great ever since. Since lubrication of the worm gear is missed by most annuals it tends to dry out or wash away with years of going through rain showers.
