fuel selector turning hard

my selector is similar to this one:

recently started turning harder than before.  still works and doesn't leak.
1.  where do I send it for repairs?
2.  is there a repair kit for it?

Thanks

You can see if there is a seal kit here: https://lasar.com/seal-kits

You can also call Lasar and see if they will rebuild it.

I have the same in my 64C.  I had the same issue.  My mechanic sent mine to LASAR and they fixed it.  Sent back and works like factory new even now 3 years later...

You can put a drop of engine oil on the selector shaft.   Rebuild is the best option.

bingo!  just when I was about to have it taken out I did this and it went back to turning easily.  I guess it was running dry

thanks!

Try this one...

Also the best stuff ever if you have a fuel fitting that is impossible to tighten well (ie. a 90 degree fitting that is still slightly loose and one more 360 degree turn is too far to go.) It will seal and last forever.

so this is ez turn lube is pretty much for the internal parts of the fuel valves as well as tappered/threaded fittings, right?

I used Fuel Lube (older version of the same stuff) on my selector valve about 10 years ago. my valve got hard to turn and was leaking. When I put new seals in it the old Fuel Lube had deteriorated into a white crusty powdery substance. I cleaned it all off and put it back together with Aeroshell #7. That was about a year ago and it still turns smooth as silk.
