Larry from NJ
I have a Socata Trinidad with a good panel that includes a Century 31 autopilot. However, the altitude hold is a problem (roll is no problem). I noticed an entire string on folks who have a similar problem. Can someone call me? (973) 525-9400. Thanks. Larry from NJ
I have had the computer checked out; the attitude indicator checked out and the servo checked out. All OK. I don't know where to go.
Jerry 5TJ
Altitude hold is derived from a barometric sensor coupled to the static system. If your Century 31 operates correctly in pitch mode but won’t engage or hold altitude mode check the static connection and static system. Have a look at the maintenance section of the Operating Manual for suggestions: Century 31 Operation Manual
