Mark M20B
My first attempt at getting a video of my gear going up and down:https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=F9mSGs75XTU
gsxrpilot
I like the video. I'd argue that the FAA only says cameras shouldn't effect the flying of the airplane and should be temporarily mounted (usually means removable without tools). So they don't really say much at all. Anyway, great video and I agree, I love watching the gear retract.
carusoam
Nice work, Mark! Thanks for sharing the flight, the thoughts, and the seatbelt! Proof that You have to be way ultra ahead of the plane, in the high workload environment to not unlatch the seatbelt... it’s a test of your super multi-tasking skills... You nailed precise landing after precise landing, and the Mooney still wanted more from you! If 85mias is too fast to raise the gear, what speed or attitude, or sign, do you use to put the gear up? Best regards, -a-
