banjob
The glide slope indicator seems to work fine, but the orange warning flag won’t go away. Any ideas?

carusoam
Welcome aboard, Banjo. Often, part of the broadcast signal is missing, giving the indicator the appearance that is working... Expect that it might be part of the station, not the receiver... Have you tuned a different station to see if works on that? Check the notam related to the station to verify that it is on line. Then check In with your instrument shop... Update some avatar data fields, when able. Best regards, -a-
Jerry 5TJ
If you can hear the ILS Morse identifier on the nav receiver audio the ground station is transmitting valid localizer and glide slope signals. The presence of those dits and dahs was the 1940s version of RAIM. That’s why our instructor told us always to monitor the audio during an ILS approach, yes?
carusoam
To be a tad more specific... remember, there are a few repeated codes for the localizer, and one more at the end for the ILS... Make sure you discern both. Best regards, -a-
