Dream to fly
I am getting ready to arrange my pilot side steam gauges in a six pack orientation. Do they have to be mounted on the rubber isolaters? I'm trying to now match both sides. When I get more cash I'm upgrading to glass but my OCD is killing me with wood grain/aluminum. carusoam
Depends on the instruments you have... If they are original to the 60s... maybe? If they are modern 90s... maybe not? Copying how a J has its panel mounted might make good guidance... For research, see what Lasar has to offer and their recommendation for supports. They have some nice ready panels... Best regards, -a-
Yetti
On the later F there are I believe Lord mounts that use a 1/4 turn screw to lock the panel to them. The Lord mounts mount to the steel tubing behind the panel. I would think if your tubing is the same, I would go with a new panel arrangement.
