SWM Meter Source

Anyone near Houston know where I might be able to rent/borrow a SWM meter?  Something like an MFJ 259 meter.

Have replaced the coax cable but still having weak reception/transmission issues.  I'd like to test the antennas before starting a fishing expedition with the avionics people.

Standing Wave Ratio  SWR  $250 looks like a good price on one. Using a VOM to make sure the new cable/connectors does not have a short and continuity is a good way to start checks.  You know when you forgot to put the SWR in the truck.   Can you swap radios.

The MFJ 259 is a good choice. I used to have one and I think I will buy another. They are not that expensive. I used it to design HF RFID antennas. Better than tools that cost 10 times as much.
