MooneyMAX 2018 is in progress and it’s amazing. So many great vendors here and wonderful presentations. Check out a few pics and the schedule. Really looking forward to being at Don Maxwells shop with Don and his team for his 8:00 - 5:00 workshop tomorrow. Thanks to Don, Jan and Paul for all they do for the Mooney community.

Yes, the speakers and vendors were awesome.  It was a wonderful day!  I also look forward to tomorrow at the hangar and my sweetheart learning the right seat. My hat is off to Don, Jan and Paul for putting on this great event!

Today at Don’s shop was awesome on so many levels. The amount of detailed knowledge he and his team gave is incredible. Such a great resource for us all. 85400d634fbfdff6280df7a8a9f1cdfc.jpgd3f2b289b62df1dab44eeec0b15091de.jpgd828a17525e3c98a987a23d435e5d368.jpgff3f53aeff3c3327bcd6cfc52f9ee0f4.jpg3570efc0f504355c742499ac5db30d6c.jpgb4a85c08bc529424aab6754f0dd57292.jpg

Great pictures Michael!  Thanks for posting and since I was in one of the pictures, I offer my apologies for any camera damage.

Yesterday was awesome and informative.  Today will be fun and calorie filled.  Hope plenty of folks come to the museum.  Lots of magnificent, airworthy warbirds and homemade ice cream.  My hangar backs up to the museum.  It will be open and Maxwells creation N9512M will be there for your viewing.  The ice cream will probably be served at the museum, but we might end up with it in our hangar.  Either way, please come to Mount Pleasant and let us show some of our Southern Hospitality.

Thanks for the invite and the kind words.
Sadly, I’m heading home this morning back to LA. It was a great time this week and if you are ever on the West Coast let me know. Enjoy the museum.

Michael,

Great pictures and descriptions of the MooneyMax event in Longview. My wife is now a true "Mooney Girl" having gone through the Right Seat Ready classes. I really enjoyed the MooneyMAX workshop at Don Maxwell's facility. This was an educational experience seeing the Mooney aircraft on the lift with the entire lower panels removed for inspection and repair. The convertible Mooney was an interesting story in itself. The highpoint for me was the conversations and hangar talk with fellow Mooney owners! We were only available to attend Friday's session but if If Don decides to do this again we will plan on attending the full schedule. I Highly recommend this for all Mooney owners!

Steve

That airplane is incredibly fast!!! I enjoyed being there yesterday. Unfortunately I could only be there for one day. I didn't get to meet you MrRodgers. Maybe next time.

Hope to meet you in the near future as well.
