merrja
Hi All, Anyone have issues with the over voltage light coming on more and more frequently? It resets if I pull and reset the field breaker. Thanks! Jim

Jim I'm not sure how your 68 F is electrically configured, but the over-voltage light on my '74 C came on a couple of times after engine start. I reset it by turning the master off, then back on. Because I was sure that my voltage regulator was going bad, I bought a voltage regulator and put in in my baggage compartment....just in case. It's still there. Apparently the new regulator scared the installed voltage regulator into behaving. I wasn't able to determine any cause, or cure. Good luck. Electrical gremlins can be fickle. 65C_flier
I had an over voltage light coming on intermittently. After replacing the zeftronics (and not fixing the problem) we found it was a frayed field wire on the alternator.
N201MKTurbo
I just had this problem. I tried everything. Contacts on master, new brushes, inspected and tightened field wires. I was too cheap to buy a new regulator. Nothing fixed it until I bought a new regulator.
