Dshevick
It's only been flown like 2 hrs in the last two years. Engine is O-320-E3D But owner is willing to give me a really good price. Thoughts Thank you, David
RobertGary1
O-320? Is this a 172? -Robert
Jerry 5TJ
M20 from around 1955 to 1958 had a Lycoming O-320 of 150 hp. If the plane you’re looking at is an M20 of that vintage...look very closely.
David Lloyd
The only safe answer would be to pass. Otherwise the only accurate answer is maybe, maybe not.
Joe Larussa
Expect to overhaul engine. Depends on how it was preserved before putting to bed.
gsxrpilot
The chances of getting it flying again are better than average. The chances of the cost to get it airworthy being less than you could buy a top of the line, currently flying M20C for today... terrible.
Yetti
depends on how good the price is.
steingar
Lots of unknowns. How much did it fly before that? Hangared or outside? What part of the country? Me, I’d pass. To me an unairworthy airplane is worth little more than scrap, since it can’t fly. It could easily cost more than the aircraft is worth to make it airworthy again. Lots of airplanes out there. nels
Sounds like a wood wing, wo9d tail Mooney. You better know what you are doing before jumping into that one.
Guest tommy123
Not enough info to give a opinion. A really good price means nothing, no mention of the year or model.
