EDM JPI 900 time of day displayed?

Recommended Posts

I see on the 930 and higher systems you can display time of day in the blue margin.
has anyone been able to do this on a 900?

I’ve got a fairly recent version of the firmware and I don’t see it. I think there is room for it to be displayed. Be nice if they did include it.

I assume y’all have a clock already since IFR requires it?
You can see it if you go into program mode.

I’d would like to see the hobbs, tach time displayed.

Yes a clock is in my panel.  I would like to remove it.

Hobbs time is easily displayed when you want it.  But I agree it would be nice if the unit had a scratch pad where you could display anything you wanted.

I * think* my 900 cycles through time of day in the rolling display, and I know it knows what time it is because the datalogs show time of day for the samples.   I think mine gets time information from the GPS (IFD).

I think it only cycles through what’s being displayed.

Mine cycles through stuff I wouldn't see otherwise, like mpg estimate, etc.   That's not displayed anywhere else.   I've only had it a couple of months and haven't sorted out everything it is doing or why yet.
