Bought this one today , will fly it home tomorrow , or Thursday....  4100 TT  1950 SMOH , good paint and interior , annual expires next month....  Will be just north of 20K ...

It has the cowl bump for the carb, so I'm guessing a C.

Yep, the chin means C. The rectangular window means at least post-65, but I'm not sure just when the window changed. 

She looks good on the outside.

Square windows started in 65... something funny about a 64...?

An M20E would have bumps on the cowl... fuel injector bumps?

Right pretty.  Is it going to get an engine overhaul or the saw?

A generally easy way to spot the F is the bar in the middle of the rear window.   Unless the mod has been done to remove the bar, then all bets are off.

Started working on it today , Removed the ADF , removed the windshield , trimmed it and drilled it , will glue it in tomorrow...
