N231SM
I have a leaking 12v low press solenoid valve. It is a 633862-2. Also called a primer valve. I have found on this site that they can be expensive and hard to get. Very frustrating. After waiting many months for engine rebuild, we fired up the engine and fuel gushed form this valve. Thanks
DonMuncy
Yes, they are expensive. The people who make them do not have an overhaul procedure in place, thus no one can rebuild them. If you want a fully functioning one, I will sell you my spare for about half of what the new ones cost.
kortopates
Get yours overhauled. Your engine rebuilder should be able to help you there. If not, try KRN Aviation in Chandler AZ.Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Guest
Why even bother with it? The engine will prime just as easily through the fuel nozzles with the boost in the High position. If you can’t get it fixed, cap the lines. Clarence
N231BN
There really should be a service kit to remove the prime solenoid. You could keep the prime switch just to save the cylces on the boost pump switch.
N231SM
Is it legal to remove the low pressure primer?
