Ident button part number?

Recommended Posts

Go to chief aircraft website and search for switch

Or sub mini momentary push button

or alco 39-1

all the switch does is sink a wire to the ground when you press it

the sub mini switch is nice but a pain to solder

the larger .... You may have to widen the hole ( the diameter is larger )

Hopefully, you find something that works from Chief...

The Yoke switches might be part of the integrated package supplied by BK.  (Like the AP group does?)

The PTT and XPDR button might be the same supplier...?

Hoping for the best.  :)

Best regards,

Interesting note near the bottom of Rich’s Grayhill link...

The button itself is held in place with super glue... and maybe available separately?

PP with fuzzy memory skills...

Best regards,

There's the plunger and the button(or cap). Most people just use the plunger as the button and omit the cap. In the photo the plunger is broken so it will require a whole new fancy $8 switch.

I ordered the switch from Chief and installed it today with some help with soldering. Thanks again for your help @OR75
