FloridaMan
I have an issue with an Intervox intercom on an airplane that I’m purchasing. I have no issue communicating with controllers. The other pilot and I have no issues hearing each other when the mic is keyed, but we cannot talk to each other through the intercom. I assumed it was the squelch, but that doesn’t seem to be doing anything. Any tips on diagnosing/fixing this? Could it be as simple as a dirty squelch pot? carusoam
Interesting... I might have the inverse challenge.... 1) I believe I have an intervox intercom in my ‘94 O 2) the failure I have... everything works accept, when the co-pilot pushes the PTT switch... 3) He talks to ATC... Pilot doesn’t hear any of what is said through/in the headset... Sounds like a similar setting or a wiring challenge? Best regards, -a-
