KG-102 mounts

hi,

Anybody know what the 'normal' condition of the shock mounts under the KG-102 should be? I look at the ones in my 1981 K and the appear to be settled and bottomed out. If I lift the gyro assembly, there is more give in the mounts, but they settle back down again.  I would think that these are worn out and not likely doing the gyro any good.

Where can replacements be found? Anybody know part numbers?

Iain,

The gyro should not settle in the mounts, it should not flop back and forth.  As I recall the mounts are quite expensive, but way less than rebuilding the gyro.

Ive bought them from our local avionics shop, Kitchener Aero.
