Nope.  There was Placerville Aviation, but he is mostly doing owner assist stuff and renting out hangar space.  The only actual maintenance shop there is Hangtown now.

You make some good points, but there problem with this approach. First, once an "annual inspection" (FAA definition) starts, the plane is out of commission until signed off or a list of discrepancies

If Skywagons won't allow the plane to go to LASAR or TopGun for a pre-buy, I would not buy the plane.

Paul, I agree with you - but couldn't help remembering your comment when I was in pre-buy for 231DH  Ok, I realize that is a different situation, but couldn't resist poking a bit of fun

Stancils use to own the sales company that is selling this Mooney.Originally they use to specialize in 185 sales...sold quite a few...Stancils also use to have a Toyota dealership in p -vile...anyway he ran into some trouble with the Feds on charges  of which he pleaded guilty to in 2008 /2009.Than he sold to long time employee ,Mark Pilkington.
