From Dave:

Dear Mooney Enthusiast,

We had a good meeting in December.  The weather was low IFR, but 4 Mooneys and several cars brought 16 people out for a nice lunch in Punta Gorda.

Our next event will be this Saturday, January 13, at the Leesburg Airport.  The local EAA Chapter will be cooking hamburgers and hotdogs for us at their hanger.  After lunch we will have cars take whoever is interested to our house ( a 15 or 20 minute car ride) to see Ruth’s outdoor garden railroad.  She has 1,000 linear feet of G-gauge track in 4 loops and, weather permitting, we should have 6 trains running.  Rides back to the airport will also be provided.

All events start at 11:30.

Please check your e-mail before attending as sometimes I make last minute changes for various reasons.

Future Schedule

January 13, 2018,  Leesburg (LEE)  Chapter 534 of the EAA will cook us hot dogs and hamburgers in their hanger.  Afterwards we will transport everyone that wants to see Ruth’s    garden railroad (1,000 linear feet of G gauge track in 4 loops, with probably 6 trains running) to our house and back.
February 10, Bartow (BOW)
March 10, Fort Pierce (FPR)
April 14, New Smyrna Beach (EVB) at the Lost Lagoon

I really appreciate it if you can e-mail me (daveanruth@aol.com) by Thursday night of the week of the event and let me know if you are going to try to make it, so I can call the restaurant on Friday with a head count.  No one is obligated to come if they told me they are coming and can’t make it for mechanical, weather, health, or any other reason.

Hope to see you soon,

Dave and Ruth
