SOLD GARMIN SL50 - En-route IFR GPS / BECKER COM

Recommended Posts

If Santa didn't bring you the fancy Garmin radio you wanted and you don't want to invest thousands of $$$ in your airplane this might be for you.

This slim GPS offers IFR en-route operation, but not approaches. The SL-50 does not have a built-in Moving Map. However, it may be used to provide position information to any Moving Map / MFD. This makes a nice Back-up for a GNS / GTX or adds en-route IFR ability (DME) to a basic panel. I find it more useful than a second VOR. Complete with tray, antenna, indicator, and complete wiring harness.

I have also two Becker radios if you would like to add a second COMM. The Becker radios fit in a standard 2 1/4" cut-out and especially the receiver sensitivity is much better than our Garmin 430W (tested on the same antenna).

SL50: $400

AR3201 $300

AR4201 $475

SL50/AR3201 $650

SL50/AR4201 $825
