Yoke badge fabrication

Recommended Posts

I’m going to have a shop make a new badge for my co-pilot yoke. It will be laser engraved powder coat. So it should be scratch resistant and look sharp for years. As I get only one made, it would be cheaper to share the cost if others were interesting in getting one too. I have the logo artwork from the Mooney factory. Not looking to make a profit here. Just want to spread the offer to others that may need a facelift on their pre-J model. I’d suspect that parts would be about $40 each or less.

I still have some of the ones from the thread above.  Yours for the cost of shipping and a padded envelope..  When I run out of the ones I had made on the first run I'll probably charge $20 plus shipping in the future.

Thank you very much.  I love flying behind it.  It also has synthetic on both the PFD and MFD as well as Avidyne active traffic (TCAS)  on the MFD.  GPSS with the 430W and a STEC30 auto Pilot.  It’s all I’ll ever want although I’d love to upgrade the 430W to a GTN650.

Rather than the 650, for a few hundred dollars  I'd swap out the Garmin 496 for a Garmin Aera 660. The panel dock for it is the exact same dimensions as the 496. You would get a bigger screen than the 650, touchscreen like the 650, synthetic vision,  etc, etc.

It's a lot of fun spending other people's money . . lol.
