Whatcha gettin' ?

We're considering a sr22tn

I'll give up some speed for the wife approval factor and the Mooney isn't really the right ship for some of the angel flight runs I do. It's terrible to get people with mobility issues in and out of and with one door I can't help.

There's really not much else out there that is turbo, TKS, 200ish knots, and 2 doors.

A T210 would get close. A whole lot lower purchase price and maintenance on the Cessna.

You'll look dorky with your wheels out all of the time.

That one should go quickly and is a good price. It's a shame to have to let that one go. Awesome bird.

PV, that's a sweet ship.

It's a nice flying plane. Just not quite right for us. For a guy out west youd be hard pressed to find a better mountain flyer. Climb is pretty impressive.

It hurts me to give up the payload, knots, and 25 gallons of fuel capacity but the wife approval factor is higher for the Cirrus.

I'll include transition training or delivery for fuel costs :D

I'd do terrible things for a Malibu. I hear the engines don't last long and they're slow but that's traveling in style.

P337 is an excellent choice.

1977 Pressurized Skymaster T337G.pdf

I have tried dragging them along kicking and screaming and they aren't with me.

The purchase cost is lower, ac, pressurized, spare engine out back, non fiki boots, it's the perfect plane imo other than being goofy looking. Its a plane I'd cross the rocks at night in.

And that's why the purchase price is low.

No damage history but wings and empennage reskinned to square it up?

Where does it say no damage history? In fact it says

Airframe
-No gear up landings, no corrosion (or history).
-Wings and empennage re-skinned by Don Maxwell to square plane early 2000 (trims out really well).
-One piece belly fairing

The plane got hailed on, repaired poorly, then repaired properly at Maxwells shop. IN maxwells shop. None of this "but it was one of maxwells guys" BS. Don signed off on it and it has flown probably a thousand hours since in probably 12 or more years since. It's right.

Very nice Rocket. I wish it had been available before I did all the upgrades (interior, G500 panel, resealed the tanks, etc) on my 231. Ray
