Ashby glareshield

Has anybody installed an Ashby glareshield ? just curious about the quality , also is it a replacement , or a cover for an existing glare shield ,  My J is missing the glareshield....

Looked into it but it's appearance is very lacking. I was going to try salvage but found mine to be repairable. I recommend the salvage route if you can find one.

Alan - Chris D here at N57 just installed one. Shane over at AirMods put a padded skin on it. They cut it in half to make the installation easier.

Bought a used perfect one (factory) from Dave , Saw your plane there , didn't have time to do a saw pic..

I have one. Just consider it a framework to build on. It looks good after I cut, re shaped and upholstered it.

Hopefully it was starting to look like they were finishing up. The annual has been pretty clean but he wanted to pull the gear motor and look for why it is more noisy than others.
