I was tidying up the garage the other day and found the RAM air door and cable which I had removed when I had the airplane painted. If anyone has any use for it...it's yours!

If the cable for a J will fit an E I would be interested.  How much?

Eddie, I don't know if it will fit an E. It is the ram air door, cable and microswitch. It came off my J when I had SI M20-93 completed to remove RAM. I would hate to send to you if you can't use it unless you tell me it will work for you.

We should let MCCDEUCE have it as my parts manual only covers the short bodies.  I do not know if it will work on the short body but it will work on his  J.

grab the cable. After some work we think mine is fine and just needs to be repaired.  And if not I might follow Pete and remove it altogether.

Hi Peter,

If Mccdeuce does not need let me know how much for the cable door assembly.  I will probably see my mechanic this weekend and he might know if the E and J cables are the same.  My ram air door regularly needs adjusting or it is not tightly closed.

Flew last night and think I have the ram air door fixed. Getting a .3-.4 increase now that the door is opening all the way.
