I wouldn't mind spending the money to have Aero Comfort cover my yokes, but I hate the thought of all of those wires having to be de-soldered and then re-soldered. It sounds like a good chance of maintenance induced failure waiting to happen. If there's a way to get it looking good without removing the yoke I'd be interested. However I wouldn't want it to look like the picture below. (This is a Warren Gregoire slip on yoke cover that was for sale on Ebay). It looks like Mooney meets the Michelin Man . . tacky.
