FlyWalt
We installed our first Concorde when I first purchased our 231 in May 2012. I have been very happy. This battery has been a solid trooper. Always a strong starter for us. When I have left the aircraft on the ground for more than a few weeks I have always topped her off using an electronic trickle charger. Up until recently she has typically shown about 12.9 to 13.2 volts when fully charged. Now, that number has started to fall. She is now at 11.9 when fully charged. Is there something more I can do to manage this battery and get a bit more life out of her.
M20S Driver
I would use a Battery Minder to desulfate the battery for a few days. It may help your battery. I desulfated my Concord after using it for 7 years (RG24-15) and still running well.
Pictreed
I just replaced mine today for the same reason. I could only get 12.5V but it wouldn't crank the plane ('65E). I got the RG 35AXC. I used the Battey Minder but couldn't bring it back. I think it was installed in 2009. Tim
