As anyone heard of any developments regarding the hydrophobic coatings as an anti ice strategy? Anyone tried it? They sure work on cars but repealing water on a car and ice on a wing are different things... but it could work as help for a quick evasion from an icing up scenario, giving more time to the pilot due to slower ice accumulation...
