West Coast Mooney 2016 Get Together

OK all you West Coasters (and anyone else that wants to meet):

Let's get a date on the calendars for a get together. I'm thinking January 2, 3 or 10.

If it's just NorCal and SoCal attendees then KSBP is a good halfway point. If there are people flying down from OR and WA then maybe somewhere around the Bay Area or Watsonville/Monterey would work better.

I'm going to the altitude chamber ride on the 9th in St. George, UT. I'll probably leave that Friday late afternoon and come home after the Saturday afternoon chamber ride. If anyone wants to go with me please message me.

Those dates work for me VFR permitting might think a bit further north to get some OR and WA to come. A couple options might be Nut Tree or Harris Ranch, San Luis Obispo and the marine layer can be a factor. Regardless I'm up for it.

If we go to San Luis I can get my EC inspection done which is due in about 12 hours

I'd be interested if it were the 10th. My airplane is at LAC Avionics, and I won't have it back until then. San Luis Obispo is a fine place about halfway between northern and southern CA, but there are many other places to meet. A bit further north is Watsonville, or Salinas, and if you want to come up to San Carlos, I should be able to arrange a place for gathering together. The San Carlos flight center is always accommodating, as is the Hiller Museum. A bit of a lead time would be helpful. I would be glad to act as host.

I'm up for the 10th, preferably WVI.

BTW, WVI has cheap gas, usually @ 20% less than usual price, on second Saturday of every month- (that would be the 9th if that's an option?)

Just a thought

Watsonville sounds cool to me! I'm totally up for some cheap gas, and would probably just end up hopping over to MRY and making a weekend out of it!

Of course, if SBP works better for people I'm good with that too!
