Pictreed
I'm trying to record in-flight audio using a digital recorder but I'm getting a strong engine sound in the recording. Has anyone tried an attenuator for their recordings? Tim
midlifeflyer
what are you using and how are you setting it up? I use a SONY recorder that I plug into the headphone jack along with my headset using an inexpensive splitter and adapter and get very clear audio.
N601RX
I've used the Lightspeed Bluetooth app on my ipad and it is very clear.
Pictreed
I think I may have figured it out. There is an input setting and I think it was on the lower powered setting. I'm waiting for an opportunity to try it out. It is a Sony recorder.

There is an input selection. If we have the same SONY, it's a "Scene" selection.
Pictreed
It's an ICD PX440. There is a recording filter with high am low cut. It has an input mode. I had it on MIC In but I'll try it on Audio In. I will be trying it out again Thursday.
