OP ED-"Little Timmy Wants to Know Why Nobody Likes Airplanes Anymore?

Recommended Posts

John is pretty good at talking out of his ass. I think his vast moral superiority does make him sleep better at night. It's called the "Catholic guilt".

You two are the one's that are acting all superior...John has stated that he has no issue with homosexuals. The bible does. It is a religious school. Parents didn't know their child was gay? If they didn't, they do now. If the boy didn't, he does now. Nothing wrong with being gay. Nothing wrong with following a religious doctrine that does not accept it. IT IS A PRIVATE RELIGIOUS SCHOOL. You tell me I wouldn't know freedom if it hit me in the face and that you want a separation of church and state. This is a perfect example...I would NOT want to go to a religious school. If he does and feels "excluded"...change. Can't change? To bad, you can't infringe on the rights of the school in their beliefs about homosexuals...Or obviously you can. You can force them to accept you...Same with women in the Infantry blah, blah, blah.

You can NOT like or respect the school and organization. They may be descriminating. You may not like that, but in a free society...in a private school...you are FREE TO DO IT.

OR NOT.

So get all up in John's face about the schools anti-gay practices....Well I would be more shocked if they just threw out their religious beliefs and said come on in. Not what they are about.

Progressive. Force change. Take freedom from a group because I want in. I freedom is "gained". Another's is lost.

Relax Scott,

See my post above. Agreed with everything you said. John is still good at talking out of his ass and claiming moral high ground just as much as I do ;-)

Let me repost:

I was not aware first amendment applied in public schools either. There was a ruling all the way from the top on that one few years ago, IIRC. Anyways, what is a bisexual activity? Sounds like fun, but apparently I have not spent enough time on porn hub com. I shall have to check it out.

Anyways, it is a selective, private school, they do get to do as they choose. "Gay mafia" stops at the property line. It's not a business generally open to public. It's the same with Catholic schools firing pregnant, unmarried teachers. Not very Christian of them, considering the entire basis of their fairy tale, but non the less, fully within their rights. But then I do remember a few teachers always bringing the same "friend" with them to school functions, so as usual, it all came down to semantics. Everybody knew what the friend really was.

And as I stated, should we manage to reproduce, my offsprings will probably go to a Catholic school as well. If they take after me, they will be good meaning trouble makers and public school is no place for that. You can actually reason with a Jesuit principal. You cannot reason with a public school district employee.

Andy,

Get started.

It's all talk until after your kids are born.

You are super human.

It's nice to know what you are thinking.

But it has become clear that you don't have the parental part of the experience...

Children are wonderful and are worth more than a pair of fast Mooneys...

Speaking of fast Mooneys ... anyone here flown their Mooney lately?

It's hard to make time for it ... when you dedicate minutes, hour, days, even weeks (dare I say months) on an Internet thread proving ... "I am right."

Lots of "humble" pilots in the world. I should know ...

Got my IPC few weeks ago, down for an annual this week. "My other toy" gets flown by pro due to IRS regulations and insurance;-) No fun to be had with it other than "training" flights...For a while at least, till it gets depreciated and sold to me for $1...

Brian Williams Credibility Questioned after Fake Iraq Story.

http://www.windstream.net/news/read/category/Entertainment/article/the_associated_press-nbcs_williams_fighting_for_his_reputation-ap

How could anyone question him? He has been a key part of the decade long "Team Obama Propaganda Campaign!"

What a short memory. Fox News's Muslim "no-go zones" story was just a couple weeks ago. But that was the whole network.

They don't mind being lied to, as long it's their side doing the lying. Like that famous stability we achieved in Iraq that Barry squandered away...Or them WMDs...How did we know what kind of weapons Saddam had? We checked with General Dynamics accounting department...

Not even close. First of all, it was CNN who characterized and broke the "no-go" stories...then Fox went with it. Brian Williams really went out of his way to FABRICATE AND LIE MULTIPLE TIMES. Big difference between, going with the wrong story and pulling back and OVERTLY lying. The guy is the face of the entire NBC franchise, including your beloved MSNBC......don't take it so hard.

My point is, religious institutions are as free to discriminate against the icky gays as ever. No reason to panic, 4352H. As far as wanting a private restroom, what makes you think that? He's gay, not transsexual. Does shit-talking a 16 year old kid make you sleep better at night or something? You have absolutely no proof that he was "disruptive," simply talking out of your ass as seems to be usual.

Giving you insight to how these schools think. They go out of their way to provide an alternative to public school. I know the difference between restrooms, I am well versed on the entire LBGT community and likely areas you aren't. Point being, this is what these private schools have their antennae up over. You and I both know he is gay and I know the difference. Can't have it both ways....on the one hand, trash Christianity.....and on the other, whine and cry when you don't follow their ideology, known well in advance. Sure you aren't gay? You're really passionate about this. Must have a brother or something...

EDIT: You are intolerant. You believe Christianity is wrong. You want Christianity to change their policies. Why? The whole world has been overly tolerant towards the gay establishment, right? Chrsitians don't poke their nose into gay business, quite the opposite. Gay...want to join my parish? Please come...we welcome you with open arms....BUT....be a Catholic....and if you can't, that's still OK......Please still come, but be politely discrete. In the Eucharist...there is a time to hug your partner, just like anyone else....show peace and love....don't demand Catholicism change.

Why are folks so down on vacations? I bet ya'll be less grumpy if you took more of them.

Most Americans not born into money find vacations stressful. That includes the 47% who vacation year around. There is a reason why so many are on social security disability: stress. It's a self feeding loop. I just want to save the republic money and stimulate the economy with 6 weeks of paid vacation  :D

Why do always assume we think Christianity is wrong for you? I could not care less, John. Some people go chasing UFOs on the weekend, some go chasing sasquatch, some go chasing eternal salvation. As far as I am concerned, all are futile pursuits, but who am I to judge? There is a major difference though between UFO people and your people. UFO people do not attempt to get a tax exemption for what usually is the choicest real estate in any city, especially the older ones. UFO people do not attempt to codify their beliefs into law and force their beliefs onto others via the force of the state. As simple as that. You are no better at live and let live than the "gay mafia" and you are just whining because lately you have been on the losing side. That's all there is to it.

Right...and the gay establishment will be screaming heretics by 2016.5. They have over stepped and didn't fill their tank enough to get them through even a four year cycle, beyond Obama. When they become malcontent again...their anger and disgrace will be in full view. You know why? They have only won by usurping judicial decisions and radical legislatures, not the will of the people and they really didn't appeal to empathy and the heart.

They have everything. They have forced anyone with whom they disagree into shame (Mozilla CEO, great ex) and now, they want the basic values and virtue of other Americans to conform to theirs. When the pendulum swings the other way and it will, they can go back to bumper stickers and yelling. Where they should be.

Definition of futile pursuit...?

Staying on the Timmy thread typing, when you have work to do....

Tell me about the people on social security dissability. Are they all bad?

Nothing but schemers there?

Looks like you may have run off the new guy...

Well,

Except that pendulum never swings as far back, now does it. You got to swing it when you can. You know that. It works for the right ideology, too. Look at the gun rights and freedom to religion decisions of last few decades. Everybody's gotten something. Welcome to the Republic. Cheers. Appealing to empathy and the heart is always a loosing battle. You have to appeal to reason. That's why we have judges with as much power as congress and the executive. Cheers.

Have a great weekend, Everyone. Or Don't.

Nope, still here but more laughing my ass up at how upset John is that gays can marry. As far as Christians not interfering... Um, the Mormon Church was the biggest donor to Prop 8. So yes, they do ;-).

As far as BHO goes, I think he's been one of our better presidents and I think history will judge him very kindly. Clinton was also unpopular at the time and now he's one of our most beloved presidents. Besides, much of the criticism towards BHO is completely irrational and unfounded -- one just needs to scratch the surface to see that those railing against him have no idea what they're talking about.

Personal attack. See my previous comments about not being able to address the issues. Can't resist attacking me can you? It's much easier than a documented debunking of my statement. You conservatives just can't stay on the issues can you?

And just what are you conserving anyways besides tax cuts for billionaires and corporations?

Uh oh.....personal attack alert, personal attack alert! Just merely helping you acknowledge you have a problem FOXdriven, that's all. You'll sleep better once you realize that the FOX News bogeyman is not under your bed or in the closet....just in your head.

....and I can like my own post too!

I am not upset....I welcome it....marry at my parish....and live a Catholic life. BHO? Sorry Buddy, he'll work on his handicap and get it down to a -2. For a player of his talents, he'll struggle like Michael Jordan did for 5-6 years (and that's giving him a lot of credit), then he'll start shooting his mouth off again. Except at that point, he will have grossly over estimated his own relevance. Kind of like Bill Clinton showing up at the last 7 state southern swing in 2014 on his own volition and democrats asking him to leave. Can ya feel it? I'm feeling it. Your defense of gays, is more gay, than most gays I know. Time for a new act.
