$45 shipped priority mail! ($35 for all additional trays to the same address)

Easy to read numbers and letters.

Stout and solid, yet elegant and smooth.

Will last a lifetime!

Nope, it has more wood!

Actually, great question.  However the prices are set as of now and the labor to make each tray is still the same (minus the time to drill 4 additional holes in the 6 cylinder version).  Sanding, beveling, gluing and setting all take the same time.  And the letters/numbers that are custom branded on each tray take about 3-4 minutes each.  It takes time to heat up each individual letter/number.

Bottom Line: the material, size and time to make the 4 cyl tray is the same.  And the top may be even stronger as less material is cut away actually.

Don't forget, shipping is included in the prices too!

Thanks for the sharp question though.  Let me see if we can discount the 4 cylinder version somehow in the future.

So far I don't think I have sold any to Mooney guys/gals.  You could be the first!

Here are some from this weekend going out to a few Twin owners.

Thanks for looking!

I have the traditional red metal carrying tray with a handle on top. The handle is a must so you can carry the plug wrenches on one hand and the plugs with the other. I would add a handle and rubber feet to yours. The rubber feet will keep the box from sliding when placed on the wing. Another feature to add would be a side pocket or compartment for plug tools.

Thanks Jose,

If you explore my webpage, you will see the 'no skid' feet.  Every tray has them...great minds think alike! :P

I looked into handles too, but the cost of materials, and time to construct was too great for me.  I am building 5-9 trays a week right now to keep up with demand.  But I will take your advice and continue to see what I can do for a handle as I know some folks want that option.

I am also experimenting with small holes on top for GAMIs or other suitable injectors as well.  Future trays may have that feature on request for those that don't want to mix up injectors.

I really appreciate your advice and feedback!  It helps me make a better product!  So thank you!  B)

Speaking of cheap...have you seen the CSOBeech Webpage?

http://www.csobeech.com/

It's a great resource geared towards Beech owners, but it has a lot of stuff that can carry over to other birds as well.  There is a huge contingent of Beech guys that are very cheap, and are constantly looking for ways to reduce the costs of flying and maintenance.  I'm one of them...

Just received my new spark plug holder. I wanted something less hard-edged than metal, and this fits the bill nicely. It is well constructed of oak, and the branding is quite nice. I recommend the product. By the way, the service was top-notch. He started production as soon as the order was received 11/1, informed me on the 6th that it had shipped, and here it is today. I guess I'm old fashioned, but I like hand-crafted things when possible.

Order soon guys, if you would like any for the holidays.  I am getting busy (down for owner assisted annual) here in about 2-3 weeks and will be tried up most of Dec for that.

Thanks!

Hey guys. I'm shutting down the woodshop for the rest of the month. Starting the tear down of the Bo today and on Monday we begin the annual. I'll be there all week assisting.

Have a great Holiday and I look forward to getting back in business for you guys in Jan!
