Hello - My wife and I are moving to Portland, OR in September and I'm looking for a new home base. There seem to be quite a few options from Hillsboro and Troutdale to Aurora State and Twin Oaks (although that looks a bit short for comfort). Can anyone suggest a good place to start looking for a new hangar? I have an M20F, so just need a small T-Hangar at a decent price. Thanks! Rags

Hi, My name is Greg and i live in the Portland OR Vancouver WA area. I just registered here and I'm excited to learn more about Mooney's. Well i'm sure everyone has heard this a number of times, I'm tall at 6'8" and decently built around 275#. I had my hopes up about a commander 112/114 but they just aren't big enough for me to fly comfortably for any time. My question is this I'm wondering if anyone in the area would be kind enough to let me sit in there m20f or J to see if it works for me? I've done a lot of research over the years due to my size and everyone says the mooneys are great for tall people. When i see one on the ramp though they look so small, I'm assuming this is an optical illusion. Looking for any tips or ideas, open to all ideas etc... Thanks again and excited to be part of the site. Greg
