  1. I'd like to get a new panel installed on my M20K here in Switzerland. Right now it has two 430W's, a EDM700, GMX200, and Sandel EHSI. I'd like to install a G5, an EDM930 (instead of the 700) and a GTN750. Has anybody done this? Or has better ideas to clean up the panel? Pictures of the panel are below.
  2. I have fretted over updating my panel for years and now that it is sitting in the avionics shop I am being hit with a lot of valid and challenging self-induced questions. So I decided I would turn to my Mooney family for some opinions, pros and cons around what I am about to share. Besides, I am sure all of you are sitting around today wishing you had not had that second plate of food or sneaking back into the kitchen after your nap. But the real reason I decided to post is due to so many pictures of Aspen installs in Mooney's but no one removed any of their round gauges...hence, the qu
  3. Dear All, I recently upgraded to GTN 750 and I noticed that there is no switch to turn it on and off. Everything appears to be under the radio master, moreover when I switch off the radio master the shut down of the GTN comes abruptly and not gradually as it was with my old GPS. Is it normal?
  4. The King EHSI died, over $14,000 to fix, Ouch! So, we picked the $50,000 fix instead!
  5. I've acquired a number of good used Klixon circuit breakers of the 7274 (MS26574) style. I have many different amperages. PM me to see if I have the ones you need. $7.50 each plus shipping.
  6. I knew when I bought my "new" 1968 M20F model a couple months ago there would be a few upgrades I'd like to do. She's actually got a very nice panel, good interior, and serviceable paint, but after a few recent IFR flights around Texas, I think I'm about ready to put in an Aspen PRO PFD 1000. I think I'll be $$ limited to just the one screen for now. I was hoping someone out there would have some experience with this and give me some round number estimates or even a recommendation for avionics shops with Mooney/Aspen experience (I'm based in SW Texas). Here's what I've got to hook up
