We recently had a GTX 330ES installed in our Mooney to meet the upcoming ADS-B Out requirement. We also have a GDL39 for ADS-B In info. I expected now that we're ADS-B compliant that I would start receiving more info from the ground stations. That has not happened, and I'm wondering if anyone has any suggestions or experience on the topic. To recap, we have GTX 330ES (configured to report Dual in capability) GDL 39 3D Garmin Pilot (running on Samsung Tab S) GNS 480 The top left corner of the map page shows 2 icons related to incoming info on the GDL. For those who are using Garmin Pilot and have a 1975 F model, I took the time to download all of the POH performance specifications into my version of Garmin Pilot. It was a painful process considering the amount of data that needed to be manually loaded. If you are interested in this, let me know and I will do the "share" in Garmin Pilot so you can upload it. BTW - I did notice some peculiar things entering the data, like slightly slower speeds at higher power settings. I suspect they may been typos.
I'm curious to know if anyone has an opinion and current experience with the latest versions of Forefight and Garmin Pilot. My renewal for Foreflight is in the next few days, but I'm debating on whether to continue using it or if I should give Garmin Pilot a try for the next year.
