  1. Hi Everyone. Hope you are having a nice start to your summer flying activities. I am happy to announce that the West Coast Mooney Group has been invited to participate in the Wings Over Camarillo Airshow this year at KCMA. We have an incredible per plane discount available to us and we will also have preferred parking as a group to display our planes for the public to enjoy. There will be static display of aircraft and vintage cars, Great food, music and some of the country's best airshow performers on hand for a great weekend of flying activities. Our participation as a group is limited to one day only on Saturday August 17th 2019. Airshow Information:. Location: KCMA Date: Saturday August 17, 2019 Arrival Time: 8:00 - 10:00 AM - (Runway will be shut down so please be on time) Preferred Parking On Ramp Together for the WCMG When you arrive, please tell ground control that you are with the Mooney Club Fly-in. They will coordinate with the airshow ground guys to park you. When you get to your parking area, please call this number (805-886-7639) and a representative will come to the planes, process your tickets and give you your wrist bands for the event. I have setup a special discount code for the West Coast Mooney Group for reducing the cost of a Adult General Admission ticket for Saturday ONLY to $20. You only need to purchase ONE Adult GA $20.00 ticket for each plane so in other words with four people on board you will save $80.00 admission per plane. Please make sure that you bring a printed copy of your one Adult GA ticket per plane. Tickets must be purchased by Friday August 16, at 4:30 PM so the airshow staff will know how many parking places to reserve for us and I know how many wrist bands I need to get. If you have any questions, please contact me. For Ticket Purchase Go To: www.wingsovercamarillo.com Click on the Tickets Icon Select ONE Saturday GA Admission Ticket Use Promo Code: MOONEY2019 (All Caps) for the plane discount I look forward to having as many of us there as possible to enjoy the day together and celebrate our beautiful Mooney Aircraft and general aviation. Please respond with a YES - MAYBE - NO and how many guests will be in your plane so I can get a sense of how many will be joining us. Contact me at anytime if you have any questions and please email me to let me know if you are going to join us. All The Best, Michael Rodgers N9268M 310-280-8983

  4. Powertow EZ40 - Vero Beach Fl area I have a used Powertow EZ40 set up for my Mooney for sale. The unit in in good condition generally and works very well. The only issue is the tire losing pressure after a few days - probably needs reseating or maybe the valve. Reply directly or via email at rmininni@yahoo.com Thanks, Bob
  5. I was thinking how valuable it would be to have a Forum that would provide MooneySpace members a resource for Mooney's that are for sale and have been seen, have had a pre buy, or have personal knowledge of the airplane. Good and bad! I recently, two days ago, went to see a M20K in Delaware that is for sale. I passed on the purchase. And, in spite of having two locals, one a pilot and one a mechanic, telling me how wonderful this Mooney was ... my experience was utter disappointment and disbelief. Looking for an airplane to buy is often an expensive proposition, just like ownership. I just keep thinking to myself that if only someone on MooneySpace had seen this airplane and had posted photos or their honest assessment after seeing the airplane, I could have saved money and we could save others looking for an M20K a lot of money too. I belonged to the Grumman Gang when I owned my Grumman several years ago and we always had volunteers, fellow pilots and aviation friends who would do a "First Look" for us if they happen to be close to the airplane we were interested in. Perhaps the moderators would consider such a Forum to help all of us. With that being said if anyone is looking at N231FG in Delaware, I will be happy to discuss and share photos. I also have the Aero-Space Reports on the airplane ($95). All the best!

  7. Hi All, Come Fly Along with me in my MooneyM20C Ranger to experience fun flights with GoPro's! Subscribe at YouTube.com/PilotFun101 Thank you for your support! As a child I always had a interest in airplanes. I always wanted to be dropped off at my local small airport and just look at the airplanes tied down and in hangers. Sometimes for hours driving everyone crazy. I just found myself hanging out. I remember telling myself I could never do this. I can never be a pilot or even own an airplane. I lost my Dad at 18 years old from cancer. So as I grow up I lost my track and sight of airports and aviation all together. In 2005 I found myself driving passed a Airport in NY (MGJ). I found myself just walking around bringing back memories as a child and thinking about my father who always pushed me to get my pilots licence. I then found hangers and pilots! Well, that was it for me! A pilot offered to take me flying. I feel in love again with aviation and that's when my Love Story began! I then told myself I must for fill at least one of my childhood dreams and become a pilot. I saved money and with my grandmother support and who also helped raise me I did it! I know there are people out there who were like me for sure. So I am hoping with my YouTube Channel I can inspire others to continue on with their own dreams and make their own Aviation Love Story. I feel blessed and thankful I can share my Aviation Love Story. So fly along with me and enjoy my love and passion for Aviation! 8. Couldn't figure out which forum to put this in, but in one of the threads, I had mentioned I was thinking about creating some aviation-themed (this being MooneySpace - obviously MOONEY THEMED) items for the home/office/Hangar. * apologizing in advance if this is the wrong part of the forums. These are what my friend and I created over the weekend. ** on the butcher block I used the wrong kind of rag/towel when applying the Wood oil so some lint is currently trapped in the grooves etched out by the laser. It will eventually come out. Trying to gauge if there would be any demand 1. from Mooney Space and 2. For other aircraft makers and their followings (don't know why anyone would want to own something other than a Mooney though) Also --- if anyone has the inside to get official Licensing from Mooney (Beechcraft/Cessna/Piper/Cirrus) please let me know. I'd like to know 1. What you like 2. What you don't like The cutting board was one I have used for a long time and probably wasn't thoroughly cleaned properly too.
