  1. Super 6 gave up, there’s another buyer who has acquired N69ZZ. I encouraged the new owner to join Mooneyspace. hopefully he will listen and learn better than super 6 did.
  2. I’d like to recommend the three states region of SE Alabama, northern FL panhandle and SW GA area for consideration. Land is still widely available and affordable. There are numerous small airports with inexpensive hangar space or room to build as well as airpark options. It’s nice living in an area when the country goes full stupid you’re mostly not affected by the big city/big government nonsense. If you’re a self sufficient type looking for long growing seasons this area is worthy of consideration.
  3. FWIW I was a long time GP user (1400+ hours) and it did close out on me numerous times. So much so that I made sure I had two devices iPhone and iPad running while shooting approaches to have back up ready. For the past 300 hours I’ve been using FlyQ and am so pleased with the performance that I purchased a lifetime subscription at a very good price. YMMV
  4. New blocks installed, gear tension went up just a needle width. No adjustments made. Test flight complete. There is absolutely zero wobble on the Johnson bar handle when stowed in either position. Thanks to all who made this possible.
  5. I’ve got two new (Left and Right) LP Aero windshields still in the box I’ll sell you. They are the expensive UV thicker versions. See part numbers in attached photo. Full disclosure, I decided to install the one piece which is why I still have these. You will notice reduced noise and vibration with new thicker windshields.
  6. My new blocks arrived today. The craftsmanship looks outstanding. Great job! Thank you very much. Anthony Hanson
  7. Hardware is ordered, annual coming up, looking forward to this upgrade and the corresponding peace of mind. I think the gear up/down blocks were my last major concern with flying our vintage M20F on my 100th birthday. A big thank you to everyone who made this happen. Anthony Hanson (still averaging 20 hours per month Wuhan be damned)
  8. I’ve got a 67’ M20F with the oil cooler relocated, power flow exhaust, plane power alternator conversion and skytec starter. Let me know when your cowling is ready. Count me in!
  9. Works great. Inexpensive ADS-B in cockpit traffic and weather along with an emergency AHRS. Includes mounting base and AC charger.
  10. 1850+ hours since May 2011 in vintage Mooneys will teach you a thing or two about maintenance. :-)
  11. Almost 300 hours since install, working great.
  12. Finally upgraded to a thicker solar LPAero one piece windshield several weeks ago. We have noticeably less vibration and noise in the cabin as well as safer margins in the event of a bird strike. Be careful out there. Now have 360 hours on our M20F in the past 18 months of ownership.
  13. Order placed and message sent. Thanks for leading this effort. Anthony Hanson
