I tackled this problem in my F Model. There was no one single solution but I turned it into a project and worked on every possible source of cold air incrementally.The cumulative effect was satisfactory. I have (2) CO2 meters. When it is really cold---as in single digits I notice the cabin really cools off in response to any throttle reduction. But that usually means we are arriving at our destination. Good luck!

I had this same problem. I switched to an LED landing light in 2015 and have never had the circuit pop again. The current draw seems to be WAY less.

Hello Ryan, I just spoke to Bill at Propellerheads. He said he is the owner. I was impressed with him and his knowledge of the process and his attention to detail. He offers a 7 year warranty. I think I am going to have him do the tanks on my F model. He quoted me a price of $7500 which is in line with the other quotes I have received. I would be wary of a price much lower than that, we all want a deal, but a short term deal and a long term deal are two different animals. Have you had your tanks done yet? Thanks.

Let me make sure I understand this -- $1850 not times two but $1850 to do both tanks? That is an outrageous price, I am getting ready to pay nearly four times that price for my F model. You have to give feedback on this, if this is correct lots of us will be beating a path to these folks hangar door.

I do check the tanks out of habit, just one of those things. If I have 5.5 hours of fuel on board and it is a 20 minute flight, I don't dip the tanks but I still do a visual on the tanks, with the plane being 45 years old I think it pays to be constanly curious and suspicious of everything. I try to be vigilant and aware regarding any small changes in behavior or appearances when it comes to "Molly" my theory is-- I take care of her and she'll take care of me.

Joel, Goodonya for taking on this project! Did you move it to one of the T hangars on the airport? When we are in the east my wife and i jump with the folks at MSPC there on the field. We hope to get to meet you some weekend if you are there. You might also get some help with anything you need from the folks who maintain the clubs 2 C182's. Apple made the update/fix available for download Saturday night....works perfect now!!!

They are a class act. If the bug was caused by Apple they are really going the extra mile....!!!

Just wondering if anyone has downloaded WINGX on the new iPad? I bought one on Friday and downloaded WINGX on it. The moving map function has issues. On Hiltons page I see they are aware of the problem and are working on it. I had WINGX on my iPad 1 and it was alwayse flawless, was hoping to see if it was faster/better on the newest iPad but so far.......................waiting.

I am temporarily based in Albany, Ga ABY. My wife and i flew to Cedar Key CDK and spent the weekend in January, a lady monitors unicom and will pick you up before your prop stops and take you to town. There are golf cart rentals available. We spent Valentines weekend at Appalachicola, AAF nice spot as well. If you want to venture further south we have spent the weekend at X01 Everglades City. Great airport and fun short field. Let me know if you find another fun place we are always looking!!! We are going to Winter Haven, FL GIF on Saturday to visit friends.
