  3. Have you already found a Ovation 3? I had my 2006 Ovation 2 upgraded with GFC700 and WAAS on the market with a broker. The listing just expired, so I'm able to pass along the additional savings to a willing buyer. Please let me know if you'd like details on my plane.
  4. Glad to provide -- I'm not sure how to add images just to this topic; but, I just uploaded these two to the Gallery http://mooneyspace.com/gallery/image/36709-/ http://mooneyspace.com/gallery/image/36708-n969rp-p1/ My profile picture is my airplane and was on the MAPA Log cover April 2015

  7. Are you asking about the audio altitude alert when you set the barometric minimum decent altitude/decision height in the TMR/REF window? You do get an audio "Minimums / Minimums" when you reach the selected altitude? I have a 2006 Ovation 2 with WAAS and GPS700 so I'm not sure if the audio feature is just related to WAAS.
  8. I have an 2006 Ovation 2 with G1000 and GFC700. Personally, I never disconnect the AP on an approach until (1) I have the runway enviornment in sight; or, (2) going missed. At the DA or MDA, with the AP On, I hit the Altitude button to hold the minimum altitude and the Heading button to stay on the runway heading. If the runway is in sight, I then disconnect the AP and land. If the runway is not in sight I use the VS to climb to the prescribed altitude for the missed approach and then un-SUSP the CDI to fly missed approach or as directed by ATC. I don't use the Missed Approach button but you could to disconnect the AP -- again, just personal perference.
  9. Over North Georgia, flying to Oshkosh 2014
