  1. Where does the wing leveler system get its input from? From the Attitude Indicator or the Turn Coordinator, or some other instrument?
  2. Toledo, Oregon (5S4), elevation 7', earlier this month. I still had a few feet to spare even. The take-off used every single foot of runway though. That's in my 1966 C model.
  3. Mike, I'm even interested at $125 ea. Where did you find them? (vincentkdunn@yahoo.com)
  4. Mike, No, I never got a 'hit' on replacing my missing ceiling lights. Do you have a lead for me? I'm still looking. Vincent (vincentkdunn@yahoo.com)

  6. I've done some shopping for insurance for my 1966 M20C. Hull valued at $60,000 with liability limits at $1 million per occurrence / $100,000 per passenger. All the quotes have the same limits of liability and hull value. Medical benefits vary a little between each one but most are either $3,000 or $5,000. The quotes below reflect those limits. Avemco $1,696 $300 not in motion / $300 in motion Chartis / Aerospace $1,067 $0 deductibles Global Aerospace $1,078 $50 not in motion / $250 in motion Phoenix Aviation $1,298 $0 not in motion / $200 in motion Starr Aviation $1,067 $0 deductibles US AIG $1,276 $0 deductibles US Specialty Declined to quote – quoted to another broker London Aviation Waiting for quote

  8. Overhead, dome light fixtures. I need a pair of them for a '66 M20C model. vincentkdunn@yahoo.com Salem Oregon
  9. I installed an A/C power wench in my T-hangar so I can pull the plane in (rather than push) and watch the tail at the same time. Works great. My mechanic says that pulling from the tail tie-down loop is no problem. The tie-loop will break before any damage to the plane.
  10. Thanks, Brian. The E.I. FP-5L is the other unit I'm considering. Since I also have the G430W it seems like a good choice also.
  11. OK, Dan. What are you using in your Mooney? I'm open to suggestions.
  12. Does anyone have this unit installed in their Mooney? I'm looking to install one in my 1966 M20C with the O360 Lycoming engine. More at http://www.insightavionics.com/tf500.htm (vincentkdunn@yahoo.com)
  13. Rob, Thanks for the reply. I only have second-hand information, I'm afraid. My mechanic tells me there isn't enough clearance in the engine compartment to install the FP-5L. What engine are you using in your '65? Did you have any space issues when you had your EI FP-5 installed? If you know who did your installation, maybe my mechanic could talk to your's. Or better yet, I could just fly it to your mechanic. Where are you located? (vincent.k.dunn@yahoo.comm if you want to continue this 'off-line') Thanks very much!

  15. I've owned my 'new' 1966 M20C for 90 days now. It has a AccuTrack AP that is 'slaved' to the Garmin 396 and also to the Garmin 430. It has altitude hold and the wing leveler also. Problem is, I got no documentation on how to use the AccuTrack. Does anyone have procedures for using the AccuTrack?
