  3. Again, I see that this thread is old but here goes. With only the pilot in the plane the best setting for takeoff trim is significant up trim for best neutral controls at takeoff speeds. If you have set the trim per the trim markings for takeoff you will have to apply significant back pressure. This may translate to a feeling of nose down as you approach takeoff speed. I have over 3500 hours in 3 different models of Mooney.
  4. Does anyone know how to adjust the volume on the terrain alert warning on the 530/430????

  7. I'm considering replacing my 2 bladed prop with the 3 bladed. I've been told that my climb performance will improve. What about top speed. Its also been stated that runway takeoff roll will be shortened. I'm looking for others that can give their experience or knowledge on this subject
  8. Anyone out there know good sources to purchase a Mooney. I have owned 3 Mooneys and would like to upgrade to an Ovation or Bravo. Always looking for best value, price etc.

  10. -----Vintage Mooney Group ----- The VMG, established in 2003, is the current longest running and largest Mooney Flying Group in the world. We are 400+ members strong. There are several other Mooney flying groups and we encourage those groups to continue to get Mooney owners to fly their airplanes to new or old destinations on a regular basis and meet with new and old friends. Our proposed June fly-in to the Lake Tahoe area this year will be our third straight. This year, the VMG fly-in will be at the Minden-Tahoe Airport on June 18-20. Our host, Mike Jacobs, is based at this airport and has suggested several new adventures , including Virginia City, that can be easily accessed from this location, just minutes from Lake Tahoe. Check it out at http://www.vintagemooneygroup.com . Get out there, fly your Mooney and we’ll see you at the Minden-Tahoe Airport.
