  4. The fact that you (replys) are comparing a Mooney , to a 182 , is by far the stupidist argument yet , as to the original poster , If you plan on staying in Alaska , keep the 182 , end of story , good night..... PS , I have owned both , at the same time...
  5. 65 M20E , 4980 TT , 1080 SMOH , 108 Since tear down inspection (Columbia engines) , O&N Bladders (54 gal) , Good solid platform , Manual gear , 2 Blade , with a new hub , and fresh overhaul (88 hours) GNC250 , and KX155 , KT71 , and GDL88 for adsb out , JPI 701 monitor/fuel flow , Stec 40... 11. Removed for scimitar upgrade , clean spinner , complete with the fillets Part # should be D7579-1
  12. Removed from M20F , Alan 856 419 5209 250
  13. Anything you can get , is acceptable , There is about 4000 in parts there , but it is a lot of work , to market and sell... Depends on what you value your time at ..
  14. Actually , it can also be used with the KI-209 through the nav composite output.... So it will drive any indicator , except Narco..
  15. I hate to break it to you , but the gear ups are already figured into the pool , What was NOT figured in , was the multi billion dollar tornado at John C Tune , in Nashville last year , And that is what we are all paying for , and will be paying for years to come , I think the damage to the buildings was 93 million , Guarantee there was probably 3 times that in aircraft also....
  16. The teardown is not prorated , BUT they only cover costs associated with removal , disassembly , and reassembly... 12 to 15 K , Which is why most people elect to do an overhaul , with the insurance company paying 40 % of the cost...
  17. Actually Clarence , when you insure it , you enter into a contract , that allows the insurance to purchase it for the agreed upon value , They will never pay up to the insured value for repairs , 70% is max...they pay you 100% , and reclaim 30% by salvage... I have personally negotiated 70% buyouts , but they are very keen on salvage values....
  18. Nice looking 209
  19. I have a full set of belly skins , I have new , and used gear doors , and plenty of flap hinges , and fairings , flaps too , if you need them... Insurance will base a total off of a 30% return on salvage , Meaning that if the plane is insured for 58000 , they will write a check for up to 40600.00 Your plane is not totaled...12 K for a teardown , 12 k for a prop , 12 k for labor , and belly repairs ... You should be way under total , If by some miracle , you come in over 40.6 K , you can have them buy out their liability for the 40.6 K and be on your own... An old C will never bring 18 K at salvage auction , plus there are costs of storage , and transport , that the insurance will want to get out of.... I do this for a living , Just sit back , and see where you are at , If you get Close , People like me and Jerry , can supply the parts cheap enough , to save it ... Good luck.. Also if you don't buy it back , at auction , I just might buy from the insurance auction , and rebuild it ...
  20. My # is 856 419 5209 , you can buy lunch ,, Mike , its time to plan a meet up...get it together , I might even leave the Beech at home..,
  21. This was sitting in a hangar in an aircraft , for 25 years , 930 since a GN , will need to be gone through , complete with all accessories... Alan 856 419 5209
  22. This was removed from an F I just parted out , it looks as new , this plane was hangar bound for 25 years , with an owner that kept upgrading , and never flew.... These look like they were run on the ground once or twice... Pristine condition , the hangar is NOT included ..
