Is it possible to add electric trim to a manual trim E or F? If so anyone got a good guess as to cost?

I have heard and read where people refer to the F model as "twisted wing", Is this a specific year F, or were all F's built with the washout? And anyone know why Mooney did it?

Looking for a good Mooney mechanic near PA.

Does someone know what year the throttle quadrant was used on the F's? Have looked at the M20 Chronology but it doesn't show it. I have seen pics of both quadrant and push/pull so I know the F had both. AM thinking maybe '70? IF so did it stay or did they go back to push pull?

Thanks Ron, Top Gun is who has done the Annual for the last several Years. Actually they just completed the 2021 annual in Sept. Owner wants to sell and has a very good price but engine is high time (1900+) and tanks appear to have leaks. Staining on bottom. They also would rather a mechanic come to airport to inspect.

Hey everyone, got a question concerning seats. Have noticed on the c and e models that some seats have headrest and others don’t. Even the same years. Was this an option on the plane new or are people having them made on seat redos?

Thanks all, very good info. My plan is to buy and put back the operating cost for the hours on the engine. Using $120 per hr and 1000 hrs left on engine, I would put away $12k. Speaking of which, what is the going rate for engine and prop overhauls? I know the engine is 2000tbo what about the prop????? Does landing gear have anything of the sort?
