  1. Any information on weather the upgraded 1/4” windshield required any type of modification to going into a m20j? My plane is getting ready to get painted and we discovered a couple stress cracks. Now seems the best time to change it.
  2. It has already been a wealth of knowledge for me
  3. Good evening everyone. I am proud to officially be apart of the Mooney owner club as the new owner of 1156P a 1981 M20J. As I am incredibly eager to to start making this beautiful bird my own, I was hoping some of you all might be willing to share with me your favorite resources for all things Mooney. I look forward to sharing my progress with you and getting to know everyone. Thanks in advance, Dustin
  4. Thank you for the response. As I know both the seller and the corporation personally this was not the case. The only asset owned by the corporation was the plane and no liabilities. With that being said, I ended up buying just the plane and did not acquire the corporation. I am happy to say I am a new Mooney owner.
  5. Good morning, I am aware I do not have to purchase it this way. If I don’t I will be establishing a Delaware C corp prior to finalizing paperwork. I’m in Florida and this absolutely does save on the taxes. Simply looking for thoughts on which would be easier, buy the corp, and it’s only asset or start a corp and go that route.
  6. Good evening everyone, I reached agreement with a friend today to purchase a 1981 Mooney m20J. The plane is solely owned by a Delaware C corporation. So I will be purchasing 100% of the stock of the Delaware corporation. I know that it is fairly common for people to use a Delaware corp to avoid sales tax but has anyone on here specifically purchased a plane this way? Any guidance/experience you are willing to share is greatly appreciated. Thanks, Dustin
