  1. Im putting a GNC355 and 2-G5’s in a 172 I lease to a flight school. I’ve got a 355 as my #2 in my M20G and it’s a great little box. Does anyone have a cost effective way to get ADSB-in into the 355 so the traffic/WX functionality will operate. Adding an additional gnc 345/375 just seems like overkill at the low low price of $5500.

  3. I have a G500txi and a 750. But no a/p. Is there a way to turn on the flight director without dropping $15k on a a/p? In my opinion just the f/d is enough to decrease single pilot work load when IMC. I can do it on the big planes at work but can’t seem to figure it out on the small ones at home. Thanks

  6. I’ve got a Lopresti boom beam STC on a G model I just bought and the light isn’t working. So I think I’m gonna replace it with an LED just so I don’t have the issue of bulb replacement going forward. anybody have any input Thx
  7. Upon further review, that knob does about 6 different strobe light patterns. Wayyyyyyy overkill, but it came like that.

  9. 1968 G, I thought it was for a LoPresti Boom Beam, but I don’t see any reference to it in the stc install or stc guide. And the element in the bulb seems to be burn out so I have no way of checking. Thanks
  10. 1968 5 hrs, 8 landings, 4 steep turns, slow flight work, steep turns, and a stall. 1 ILS, 2 gps lp-v approaches and we still have this afternoon to go.
  11. The yokes are a bit much, but we’re gonna live with them for a bit before dropping $ on replacements. they were cool for someone, just not us.
  12. It’s got all the 201 mods except the single piece belly, and brake stc. I’ll have the brakes swapped at the next annual. Besides being legal and having one in the plane, I’m just looking for perf numbers. As opposed to me just cursing around at 21/24 and leaning to 8.6-9.6 gph. All the air speeds are pre-programmed in the G500 so they automatically pop up on the speed tape. It could be faster, but the price was right and the avionics were better than what I use at work, so I guess I just had to settle on the small motor. Maybe we can discuss a stc motor in 1500 hrs??? Same with CHT and EGT. I’m just keeping my highest cht sub-380, but have no idea where my EGT’s should be.
