Yes that is the issue the steel shaft has become worn and the o ring wont seal tight. I was thinking I could make a new shaft thank you for the photo

Hi me again, looking for info on where I could find a brake cyl or a rebuild kit. The push rod on the right side is worn out of limits causing the fluid to seep past the new o ring. I would like a new rod or a complete master if possible I appreciate the help ! It really takes a community to keep these old girls fit

I agree they are excellent aircraft, I was wondering how long the wood fabric wing would last ? From what I can tell the fabric on the wings of my A is original.

Question what is the thought on the life span of fabric wood wings? From what I can tell the fabric on the wings of my 59 A is the original material is that possible ? The log books go back to hour 1 and there is nothing on a recover beyond flaps and alerions... It is certified and just recently had its annual. Interested to hear what others think
